Decided to get Dell XPS 1530.. But am unable to decide between two displays..

Widescreen WXGA+ (1440x900) TFT Display with TrueLife - 40$ more than WXGA

    or

UltraSharp Widescreen WSXGA+ (1680x1050) TFT Display with TrueLife - 60$ more than WXGA+ or 100$ more than WXGA

Which is better for a 15.4 inch screen? Does Ultrasharp WSXGA+ comsume more battery? If yes, how much would the overall battery backup reduce by? Whats the difference in brightness??

Lastly, hows the Dell(TM) Bluetooth Travel Mouse? Costs about 25$

Thanks a lot in advance :)

Battery life should be the same but screen resolution is almost 100% personal preference.

You may want to go check out computers at a local computer store and look at a 15.4" screen with various resolutions.

Any comparison that could help me decide? I am unable to find any laptop in a local store here with WSXGA+ display

Widescreen WXGA+ (1440x900) TFT Display with TrueLife = Perfect for 15" Laptops but X2P said its all about personal preference.

If you game at all WXGA+ (1440x900) is the better choice. You don't have to push the video card to run at such a high resolution to match your native screen res.
