I know my laptop is getting a little old, but I still play few games and want to be able to play them at a higher, but playable settings. What nvidia drivers would you recommend for me?

    my specs:
    Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 @ 2.2GHz
    3070MR RAM
    DirectX 10
    NVidia GeForce 8600M GT

nVidia 186.82 works very nicely, but it may get a bit outdated soon.

yes, it is overclocked 625/800 constantly, and gives me almost 5800 3Dmark06 ^^
Anyway, I saw somewhere in this forum a M1530 with a bit more than 6000, dunno if that notebook is still alive tho :p

Yeah, I'm one of the few happy M1530 users in this forum (probably because 97% of users posting here are the ones with troubles).

That's quite a good score! Although I personally would be afraid to clock the memory that high, as it's got no temp sensor on it.

Nice to see other functional M1530 around here ^^
