    hi guys.. new to this forum but not to pc's / laptops :)

    im having a problem while playing games on my XPS 1730 with 8800gtx Sli while playing WoW.. its only started happening in the last couple of months.. while playing all will be well then after an hour the laptop will just BSOD!! when i reboot the laptop it will sometimes boot straight into windows but will have stuttering should / laggy vid. other times it will basically make me have to re install windows vista.. i dont know what is wrong with it but im guessing its about to die?? any help would be great!

    do you happen to remember the windows error code that is displayed when the comp BSODed ?

    Also, are you monitoring your video card and cpu temps ?

    Do you see any errors in event viewer under system ?

    i havent been looking at the temps on the laptop :s what program can u use for that?

    and as for errors i dont see any.. the laptop will run all day long with no problems at all untill i start gaming that is.

    Everest can monitor temps and even display it on the logitech LCD screen. Search the forum there are some details about that.

    I'm having the smae problem after 2 years.
    Do you hav any idea what i can do about it?
