I have been watching Best Buy, Sam's, etc but have never seen the X1530 at these. Is it just something they won't carry even online? I have seen the 1330 but I think that is too small for me.

I saw it in Best Buy at Shreveport, Louisiana.
They were conveniently located at the opposite sides of the laptop showfloor. As to why is anyone's guess. :p

At the Best Buy that I work at, we only have the M1330 on display. The M1530 was on display a month or two ago, but not anymore.

I recently bought an XPS M1530 Product(RED) at Best Buy for half price...
They had it locked behind glass and it was listed for $679, original price was $1300. I asked why the price was so low and the sales person said it was the last one and they werent stocking it any more.
It is a lower spec video card (8400) but it is still faster than the toshiba I upgraded from!

The Staples nearby where I lived was carrying them at one point....

I'm not sure if they are anymore..though.. ;)

You may want to check them!

Edit: I believe that some are still carrying them...most not. :(

    Cin ;) :)

I saw an XPS 1330 in Best Buy here, in Colorado. In my visit to the Philippines for a vacation, I saw they had the Inspiron 1720, XPS 1330, and XPS 1530 at a random store (Forgot the store's name)

Thanks everyone. I guess in my part of MD and WV there are just no 1530's on the shelf. I love the solid feel of the 1330 but want the bigger screen and a little wider keyboard.
