Since quite a few people have gotten one of these lately, I thought I would post and see if anyone had found a good deal on this RAM?

Would be nice to update from the 4gb currently installed in my 1645!

Post if you find a good deal, please :)

Is this what I need if I just wanted to change out an existing 2gb stick for this one? Is it a decent price?

Yep, you that one should work just fine. I bought the same RAM from NewEgg in January when the price was $200. When it came down to $170 a few weeks later, they refunded the difference to me. In the few months since then, I see it down another $55. That is, now, even with having to waste your 2 GB stick, still a much more economical way of upgrading your RAM from 6 GB to 8 GB than it would be to start out with 8 GB from Dell.
