Anyone got any references? I found out one at buyviewguard.com.

Would it work? There's also a anti-glare privacy filter but it's about 79$ :S... so I'm not sure I want to go for it.

If you want a good privacy filter, I'd rather get 3M Gold Privacy Filter (also cheaper). Why do you want anti-glare? Do you go outside much? If you're inside and the reflection bothers you, consider getting a glossy anti-reflective filter. It won't reduce glare as much since it doesn't diffuse light as much, but color reproduction and light transmission will be better. A highly recommended anti-reflective filter is the Photodon Crystal Clear (MXAR) and the 3M Vikuiti. For more brands try:

The 3M seems to be a popular option.

So it's 80$ for the Vikuiti pack of 5?? Do I really need that many? Can I be switching them off easily?

For the average user, they say to replace it once a year. For harsher climate, terrain, conditions, it should last at least 3 months. So it depends on your usage. If you don't travel much and just do basic Word, Excel, internet, try to find somewhere that sells just a single filter.

Also, do you think it would provide more protection against the dust that sometimes get between the RGBLED and the plastic?

both 3M and Photodon screen films have some speckling which might become annoying and even unbearable quite fast.
The guy on the video mentions that there are solutions out there that have no speckling at all. I wonder what solutions are those? Any ideas?

Alternatively you could remove the edge to edge plastic as the actual LCD has an anti-glare coating on I believe.

You could then carefully cut the clear plastic section out and just leave the black border which you could slot back into place.
