    Adapter Crackling?

    My adapter crackles only whne connected to my SXPS, it's weird. I made it stop a while ago by disconnecting an dnow it's back. Anybody else? Should I ask Dell for replacement?

    I received my system couples days ago, and i got the same problem as you.
    The chargers is working but i don't think it should make this noise.
    I will call Dell tomorrow and ask for a new one for sure.

    Personally, I wouldn't want my Adapter making this type of noise when connected to my new lappy, either way.

    Be safe, and call Dell and have them replace with a new one. They shouldn't have any problem doing this for you whatsoever! ;)

    You mean the power cable/charger, right?
    Mine also made this weird crackling/buzzing sound
    and I was worried about that it could lead to fire hazard.
    So I called up Dell and explained the issue and they sent me a replacement.
    So far, the replacement does not making the sound.
    Go ahead and call up dell to ask for replacement.

    Ok, yeah I called Dell on Friday they said it would arrive today or tomorrow.
