    About using the battery for m1330

    Is it safe or better if i take out the battery and use mains?
    Because I never really take out my laptop i just use it as i desktop really..

    I'm not sure what you mean by "safe" or "better". It won't be faster, if that is what you mean. Not using the battery isn't going to make it last longer anyway. Li-ion batteries have a finite lifespan that begins the day they are manufactured and not using it will not make it last longer.

    It'll probably help battery life because li-ion battery life depends on how many times you charge/discharge it and the heat it is subjected to. So you could take it out, seal it in a plastic bag and put it in your fridge (not freezer). It is safe to do that, especially if you have a Dell 90W adapter.

    The disadvantage is that when there's a power outage, you won't have a backup power.
