I installed Vista Home Prem 64bit on my M1330 yesterday. I loaded the 64bit disc and then did the drivers. I have the machine in AHCI mode in BIOS by default BTW> NO BSOD during install. But when i get into vista i tried the intel matrix storage and that was not working for me. It would extract but not install. So i went into device manager and found a AHCI done from vista and did update driver and pointed to the intel matrix dell drivers. it installed rebooted then installed HDD and rebooted again. The funny thing was before i was able to enable write cahing on my Toshiba 320GB drive and now with the intel i cannot. Did i install this correctly.

can somone tell me how to install it???
