With the 5730 supposedly running at less wattage and cooler, could this mean the RGB displays are on the way back into general production?

These two things together would make for a very nice laptop. Is it worth waiting to see if this becomes available? Seems like a straightforward answer to the overheating issue.

I'm gonna hold on, I think. The idea of an sxps 16 with an i7, 1080rgbled 8gigs ram, 5730, and SSD drive for 2500 bucks is too appealing

Why didn't they release RGBLED right when they updated to 5730? Why wait longer?

They probably have a shortage for the screens, so it will be released independently of the release of the HD 5730.

While Id love an RGBled screen Im not dying for one as I noticed very little to no difference between the RGB in my m17x and the WLED in the studio XPS at best buy. A 5850 would be nice, but might be too hot for this thin laptop. Honestly I think the spec I got is as perfect as you can get for my uses. The cooler running quad and an enthusiast ATi card and 1080p screen. Cant wait!
