    Hello

There is a place for 3G sim cards in the M1330s.

Can I simply get a 3G sim card from any operator and put it in?

The computer is bought in Sweden, if it matters.

    Many thanks,
    SB

People dont read the manuals these days...or do a search on the forum.
Good day to you yes you can put any sim card in the slot you like.... BUT!
1.You need a 3G modem to suit your network, to go in the WWAN bay next to your WiFi bay.
    2.Need software and drivers..
3.Depends on your bios but only Dell branded WWAN cards will work.

Doesn't the WWAN card have to be unlocked in order to use your SIM card? WWAN specific cards can only work with specific SIMs.

if u had a dell 5510/5520/5530 i believe if u use generic software then u can use sims from any operator. for example if u got sierra mc8775 it's lock to certain operator but can be unlock easily which i did..
