As soon as i unplug my 15z from the power adapter the battery indicator states the battery is at 82%. I then plug it in and it shows charging back to 100% then unplug and back to 82%.

Anyone else seeing this in theirs?

Just did it right now, nothings wrong with mine. If it's not a software problem there's not much you can do, looks like you have to call Dell >.<

I have the 502x and notice that the battery says it loses about 6% when I leave it unplugged overnight. I'm trying to only charge to about 75% generally, to save the battery life and when I turn it on in the morning it says 69% or so. Seems like a lot to lose for being unplugged for 12 hours or so. But I don't have the same problem as yours, xpsbrendan.

The battery sounds like it isn't calibrated properly. Try this:

    1. Fully charge to 100%.
    2. Keep plugged into AC adapter for 2 hours.
    3. Drain to 0%.
    4. Wait a few hours.
    5. Charge back to 100% (you can use laptop during this time).

Repeat twice and you should see an improvement in the drain-curve (i.e., steady, incremental decreases).

I get similar from my l702x. It drops like 10-12% in 2 days with not even being powered on (full shut down, not idle/sleep/etc).

Mine does this as well. The moment I unplug, 82%. :( I will try draining all the way down to 0.
