I got an acer 14' chromebook. Bought this months ago to use as web browser and watching movies etc.

    https://www.amazon.com/Acer-Chromeb...1537897744&sr=8-3&keywords=acer+14+chromebook

I notice that on the bottom of the middle and right of the screen, there are like 2 decent size yellow spots on the screen. What are these? Its like 2 yellow marks there. Are these related to pixels or something else? It is pretty darn noticeable if im on chrome and say the background of the website like this one is white.

@Drew1 they're usually pressure marks, but could also be the opposite - glue between layers of LCD becomes visible due to separation. I got the latter on my Thinkpad's corner of the screen after dropping it, massaged the screen and they disappeared; give it a try, and return the device if it doesn't help.

hi there. How do i massage it?

I could return the device for this reason? bought at best buy about 6 months ago online. But what does this sound like to you? If i post picture, then you or anyone else could tell exactly what it is?

@Drew1 yeah, post pictures. You definitely could and probably should return it. Apply reasonable force with your fingers and move them around the problematic area, but don't overdo it. Just return the device right away if you're not sure about massaging the screen.

Return an item 6 months after you bought it, hahaha. Good luck with that unless you have that best buy warranty that you pay extra for.

Okay so no point in even contacting best buy on this then?

I would contact the manufacture about it, I'm sure there is a manufacture warranty.
