My c720 has pretty much become my travel companion around campus. I am using Trusty Tahr 14.04 XFCE with Numix icons on a dock. Between ChromeOS and XFCE I use the latter 99% of the time. More flexible with applications and installations. -

This is the main reason I have been thinking about splurging on the pixelbook with 512gb of storage. I can have both systems on one machine, and move two more notebooks off my shelf.
