Hey guys, I am thinking about picking up a budget cheap Chromebook so I will have something that is thin, and light to program, code on.

I am in computer science right now and we are learning on Microsoft Visual, and I know that I couldn't run this on the Chromebook itself, but would it be a viable option to remote desktop to my desktop in my dorm to work on it?

    Thanks for the help :)

As far as I know, yes. You'll need to install and enable the chrome Remote Desktop app on your dorm computer (and make sure it doesn't put itself to sleep).
