i know it may not be the best way to gauge this, but i tried running the WEI scores using both graphics card, both using the latest and most recent beta drivers if available:

intel gets 6.5 for aero and 6.5 for gaming
nvidia gets 5.0 for aero and 6.3 for gaming

so......the intel 4000 performs better even for gaming?

Try actual games instead of the almost totally meaningless WEI.

the thing is i dont have any intensive games to try with.....i have games from like years ago which the intergrated graphics card ran really well with so i cant really tell.....

or is there a good gaming benchmark that i can use to test?

    drivers:
intel 4000: 9.17.10.2792 (get it manually from intel website, auto update utility didnt pick it up)
nvidia 620M: 9.18.13.479 beta (get it manually from nvidia website; actually the beta driver knocked the aero WEI down for some reason)

Lol my Windows Aero score is like 5.5... but who cares? After OCing my GT620M, I get GT640M LE performance :D
To answer your question, the Nvidia GPU is definitely better than the Intel one.

I would recommend using Cinebench 11.5 and bench both GPU's individually, to get a more realistic indication of the difference in gaming performance.

I don't understand where u find the 9.17 intel drivers, or you're using that for win 8? Anyway is strange that with the same pc you have different results... I have the same score of many review and videos that I saw in internet.

the only thing i know is that the installer didnt stop me from proceeding because i have win7, and my wei score went up from 6.3 to 6.5

actual improvement....the only thing i tried is cinebench 11.5 openGL test.....not sure if set everything correctly but my score for the openGL test is anywhere between 15.5 to 16.96. i have 10gb ram fyi

maybe you can run cinebench against yours and see what you got; i dont really wanna roll back my driver version

another *psychological* improvement, meaning i am not 100% sure because i may have done other tweaks as well, is that it *seems* like im using less power on battery. before my drain rate is 6-8Wh, but today i was able to get down to the 5Wh range for some reason

You could just look at the review on this very site :)

Review Asus Zenbook UX32VD Ultrabook - Notebookcheck.net Reviews

    Diablo 3:

1920x1080 High AA :eek:n 21.12 fps (on nVidia)
    1920x1080 High AA :eek:n 10.84 fps (Intel)

Not exactly earth shattering, but that is max details, but at native res. It's a shame ASUS didn't put a 640LE in this - would have made the best ultrabook.
