Hi, i recently ordered a z96j from gentech w/ a t7200 c2d processor. I already have 2 gigs of 533 mhz ram that i use in my 9300, so would it be possible to just reuse those sticks in the z96j? Or do i have to buy new 667 mhz ram?

No, it is perfectly okay to use the modules from the Dell inyour Asus. The frequency difference won't matter, as the notebooks can run 533 Mhz. Performance won't be altered either, as 533 Mhz and 667 Mhz, performa about the same, due to latency on the 667 Mhz being slower.
