I used to own a Z70V the screen on it is wonderful. It is different than a glossy so thats a preference. But as far as matte screens go its one of the best bright colorful and sharp.

Well you're not on the same level...... besides the fact they are both 15.4" screens........

You're looking at only a WXGA res...... i guess you can get integrated or 7400 graphics (no mention of how much dedicated vram though)..... and isn't it a media center system?

But before you get off talking about sony's screen... that'll only last a day or two.... the V6va screen would be like viagra in comparison....

I just think you're comparing apples to oranges really...... you're looking at two different chipsets and it's really not fair to pin the z70va against it in a way..... and also not fair to pin the Sony against the Z70va in other ways....

.... so there's no convincing needed........ find other models to compare.

my buddys happy with a toshiba so he reccoments qoesmo or w/e
ive been looking at z70va for awhile but as ive said im iffy on the screen choice,
i mentioned my core duo sony fe choice as a possible option

also im really looking at the w3vs more
they are more than i want to spend but both justin and eddie give a lil off since im a student. but this is an asus that i love, as well as a glossy screen, and the x600 would suit my mild gaming, also the 14 inch isnt a huge drawback seeing smaller always helps with portablity.

anyways my hardware Q isnt getting answeres so u guys are my best bet

Honestly the Z70va screen is far better than a W3V.
