Does anyone know if there are any dealers that would swap out this very high resolution for a lower resolution model. Maybe my eyes will get used to it, but I highly doubt it. Also, what are the temperatures I should expect if I am just using internet and email. I knew this would run hotter, but it seems 57 degrees is pretty hot for practically idle use.

I had the same concern about the resolution when I got my z70va. Before you try swapping out the beautiful display, try lowering the resolution via the Control Panel. Go to the Start menu > Control Panel > Display icon > Settings tab, and adjust the screen resolution slider to a lower setting. It may be just what the doctor ordered. I have mine set to 1280 x 768.

Yes we used to offer that option when we sold the z70va. It actually cost 100$ more to get a lower res screen. We no longer do that as the z70 has been end of life for almost a year now.
