    Hi, I was wondering what the exact specifications for the memory of the z70v laptop are? Could I order just a 1 gig stick of ram from any of the Asus resellers like Geared2play or Proportable?

    It accepts PC4200 DDR2 memory. You can buy it just about anywhere.

    if u already have a stick of ram in ur z70v find out what brand and speed it is. then go to newegg and buy another identical stick.

    yeah make sure its identical or else it wont run dual channel properly
