    where can I buy Asus A8jm or W3j?
    I live in U.S. and I'm trying to buy online.

    but for the A8Jm you might be waiting atleast a couple of months.

    Hi Hokoko,

    There's a sticky on the Asus forum that answers questions about Asus notebooks. It has a really long list of on-line stores from which you can buy. The link is:

    Justin from Proportable.com is a regular here and both he and his company are excellent resources.

    As of yet the W3j isn't for sale, but pre-orders should start within the next week or so. If you watch the forum I guarantee you won't miss out.

    A8 should be available right after W3J, maybe in a month. MIGHT be in whitebox version.

    It's an ENSEMBLE right now, but if you look at it, at ASUS 14" category, they have:

    ENSEMBLE:
    W3j
    A8jm

    Whitebook/Barebones/Built On:
    Z62f
    Z62J

    Both ENSEMBLE's are pretty powerful but the barebone 14" are pretty 'bleh'. If they switched one around, such as the Z62f(I think this one has the 7300 Go) and tag it with a pretty low pricetag, but still a 14" with a reasonable GPU, it would sell just as much as the higher end W3j. The A8jm which would be a barebone would also sell alot, because of the customizablility.

    so the Z62J is the whitebox of the A8Jm??
    wow..in that case i would rather take the Z62J since i can customize it..

    just out of curiosity...
    I have to buy a laptop before mid-may. so.. How long do I have to wait until I can buy A8jm? will I be able to buy A8jm before mid-may?
    Also I've heard from several people that W3j will be around $1900, but what will be the price range for A8jm?
    and finally, which laptop would you guys prefer, W3j or A8jm?

    Mid to late May is a good ETA I would say, as the A8jm will be 1 month after the W3j, the W3j being mid to late April, from what it looks like.

    Seems like the A8Jm will also be offered as a barebones in NA.
    im sure the country that gets the A8Jm will not get the barebones version.

    the A8Jm will be released around mid april with the barebones coming in the follwoing weeks.
