    What processor should i get a pentium M 1.7 G or a pentium 4 3.00 GHz. I am going to use it to do school work and play games and also make dvds.

    It depends on what's important to you. The P4 will perform a little better than the PM, but it will not give nearly as much battery life.

    Either processor should be fine, but a P4 system will probably be heavier and not have as long a battery life.

    Also, what models are u looking at?
