hello, i bought my asus g50vt-a1 in the usa as it isnt avi in europe. i think my hdd is damaged as i only get a blackscreen when botting (after sp2 update which made me getting that black screen after reboot). also live cd´s dont work anymore. So can i repair/swap that hdd somehow in europe ? And can i only send the hdd and not the whole laptop? Because who would pay me the shipping to usa?

    Thanks

In case this is still needed: your warranty is international so your computer should be fixable in the EU. Just contact your nearest service center.

However, before that, if the computer doesn't boot from LiveCDs then the hard drive is unlikely to be at fault. See my Tips and Tricks, "No POST" item, for some things to try.
