    Hi,

I have a nokia 6230i which is bluetooth compliant. I leave the phone's bluetooth always on.

When i turn on the bluetooth on the laptop, it takes 30 to 60 seconds to recognise a connection with the phone.

Is this a normal amount of time for bluetooth?

If it is not normal how can i fix it?

    Thanks.

Yea when your bluetooth is trying to detect phones, make sure you turn your phonee on Discoverable or "Find Me", that last like 60s and should only take your computer 10-15 seconds to find it.

how do i change the phone to "discoverable"?

I have it on "auto connect"... is that the samething.

Also, to establish a connection i actually have to open the bluetooth menu on the computer and click connect.

Is there any way to make it so that when i hit the bluetooth button on the computer (ie the short cut key below the power 4gear button) to make it automatically connect to my phone?

    Thanks.
