i know justin at proportable is the asus guru in this forum (have been reading for months)... when can we expect the advanced order for the second shipment to go up? i tried to be patient and wait til the reviews came out, but i am succumbing to the pressure.

also, what are all the u.s. asus resellers? i know proportable is one. i found allasus.com online. are there others?

I searched through all the resellers and none of them have W3J listed (probably because it isn't out yet in the states yet )

yea.. i also noticed that they do not have a pre-order available. i believe justin from proportable talked about this before. most resellers don't like to do preorders because they are a pain in the ass.. i am assuming once they physically get some in stock, they will be up on the page.

...and subsequently void the Asus warranty (and replace it with their own) if you're talking about the Ensemble models.

The Built-On line can be customized by everyone.

Use this: http://www.resellerratings.com/find.pl...I can't speak to where these ratings/reviews come from, but at least it can give you a little insight into the many options.

As of today I'm still reluctant to open up the advanced order page for the next shipment because the first shipment still didn't leave Taiwan..... which makes the second shipment look like it'll fall at the end of May at the very best. Also, we had sold about 10 w3's over our allocation limit. We originally were supposed to have more, but then after the 4th day of the advanced order we were told they could only guarentee us a certain amount and it was about 45 less than we were originally told. So, we very well may have more systems at launch than we're expecting right now..... The first 10 of those would go to the last 10 people in line and after that I've got a list of people who wanted to get on that second shipment order.... after that, if there are any we'll open those up for sale or start a backorder for the next shipment at that time.

It's been a ***** and Asus totally didn't take into account that we'd sell more W3j's in 4 days than we sold w3v's in about 40 days of advanced orders last year..... so we'll see what happens.

Yup, we're not charging to get on the priority list. Just send us and e-mail and we'll put you on.
Once they come in, you'll receive a VIP purchasing page that guarantees you'll get one.
If you do not ending up purchasing within 24hours after receiving your VIP link, your unit will default to the main stock and create more stock for everyone else at the main W3J purchasing page. :D

Wow looks like the popularity of this model will break all records. Thank goodness I got in early with Justin.

On a side note I almost has a small problem with my payment and Justin really helped me through E-mails. Thanks Justin!
