you posted the same thing here?

go for the W2V.. it doesn't ask to hurt if he still has it in stock. I think he probably does.

if not, then try geared2play.com power notebooks, rjtech, c9tech, or agearnotebooks.

thansk goren and the patience for my massive threads.

why is the w2J better than the w2v ?? can i get teh w2v customized to be as powerful as the w2j and maybe a better gpu ??

i checked some websites and it says 17" WXGA+/WSXGA+ TFT LCD for the w2v... so which is it ??

is the fact taht the w2v's x700 the only reason its weaker than the w2j since it has x1600 ?
    can i get teh w2v with x1600 ?

I'm no expert..but I think the W2J is just a W2V update with the core duo processor and the x1600.. other wise its largely the same. And no, laptop boards and vid cards don't operate that way.

I believe the W2V is the wsxga. but like anything..you best want to double check with the reseller. the X700 is not a bad card at all, yes weaker than the x1600, but its still capable of paying current games. It seems that sexiness is priority for you.. and I can say, the w2v is probably the sexiest of the 17" models of all.

core duo cpu and x1600 gpu

    no you can upgrade them.

i would get the w2j and live with the lower resolution

    the screen is brighter.

how often does asus come out with new models ? how much do asus laps retain their value? as in if i wanted to buy the w2j now and then in like half a year wanted to sell, how much would you think i could get for it on craigslist
