    my v1s wont load dvds or cds, which is really frustrating because i need it to load word for school. can any of you guys help me out?

    What do you mean by won't load?
    You hear it spinning but nothing happens?

    nevermind, i had it region locked. got it all figured out, thanks anyway guys

    Careful with switching the region code on the DVD drive, you only have 5 switches after which it remains locked.

    Hmmm never heard of that, what is DVD region code? How do you change it and why would you want to?
