Ok so here's a weird question no one has asked yet. Will an intel 4gb turbo memory card fit the x5's mini pci express slot. I know the x5 has an extra mini slot that is unused because in a thread an owner of one found it after a journey of searching throughout the laptop.

If it would fit physically, most likely, what would this turbo memory do? I'm extremely uneducated in what the purpose of this is and its affects on the laptop itself. Can someone enlighten me please =/

If you already have 4GB of ram, adding a 4GB turbo memory card will have little affect on performance. If you insist on using turbo memory, just purchase a SDHC card and enable it with readyboost. The purpose of having Intel turbo memory is to reduce the time it takes for a computer to power up, access programs, and write data to the hard drive. However, many tests have shown that it doesn't necessarily boost performance, especially in systems with 4GB of ram or more. In some cases it even lowers your system performance.
