I have a g72gx and my back lit led is not working properly. The screen will turn on but is nearly completely black. This is because the led is not working I have tried using the button which turns the led on but it doesn't work and I believe the problem lies in a faulty screen. Any suggestions?

What video card drivers are you using? A modified inf driver may not let you adjust the backlight.

I don't believe it is a video card problem I believe the backlight lcd is burnt out or the inverter is dead. I was wondering how to fix this problem. Can I replace it and how
    thanks
