    playing video in dual display!!

    when a video (mpg) was playing in slide show of powerpoint, only the lcd had the video but the external monitor/display had only the blank slide

    it was the same with I tried with WMP 10

    any idea how to fix it, cos i need to see the video in both screen for conferences.

    you can only have hardware video overlay in one screen. If you move the window to the other screen it will play on that. If you really need video playback in both screens you will need to switch to software overlay (offloads GPU, and thus becomes CPU intensive) which is called VMR in windowsXP. It's easy to find in the nVidia settings, i have no idea about ATI cards. Look for it.
