    hi all, im new to this forum =)

    i just purchased this laptop. can u guys tell me if its a good deal? ive never used a asus laptop in the past, so how is the A series quality?

    im only looking for a solid built laptop for movies/microsoft office programs/web surfin etc. the only game i would play is warcraft III

    Kind of beside the point asking if it's going to perform for you after you've already purchased, isn't it ;)?

    Asus' A series is their budget line - it's not high quality but is probably better than anything in the same $900 price range from Dell, HP, or Acer. You've got a capable (but older) cpu and a budget video card in the 8400GS.... it will meet all your general needs but I'm guessing won't cover WOW at very high settings given the lower nature of your gpu. I don't play WOW, but I'm sure others here can comment better on the precise capabilities of the 8400 with this MMORPG.

    hi, i received the product today. in the website it said this laptop has a fingerprint reader, as well as bluetooth capability. im reading the instruction manual and cant locate these two features. i did find a Infrared port (IrDA) feature, is that Bluetooth? where is the fingerprint reader?

    on the specifications sticker, does it indicate that there ire a fingerprint reader or bluetooth? while A8 series laptops has the capacity to have these, not all models do
