    well im trying to get this thing to boot up as fast as possible..

    wanted to know how the two hard disk sectors can be put together without a formatting? is this possible? thank you

    You may need a program like Partition Magic to do so, if you don't want to reformat.

    hrm, curious about something, does the recoverydisc reformat the drives again?

    Partition Magic from Norton can do the job without any problem. If you have the recovery disks, whcih I assume comes with each Asus notebook, you can format the one that does not have the windows installed and combine them.

    Partition Magic is expensive software, but you can easily download one of of torrents sites using utorrents. Never pay for software.

    Yes, it is possible to do this, but you need to have another 2nd hard drive and USB exthernal enclosure or 2.5" to 3.5" adapter. If you would like to use an external hard drive, through Ghost or Acornis clone or create an image to to an external hard drive, then clone it back to the original laptop hard drive.
