The N.A. ASUS Support is top notch, possibly the best from what I have heard. I am pleased with the support in the Iran too. What is your location ?

Service so far has been great for me. albeit disappointing that i would need service on a brand new laptop though. Tech support is always easy to get through and rarely do i have to wait long on hold. Once through though you can have some interesting characters. A fellow once requested that i hang up and call him back after restarting my system as he had another customer on the line. Isnt tech support supposed to be around 24/7 to help me fix my problem? Why is a trained technician - whos supposed to be professional - asking me to call back in a few minutes? Mind you this guy also answered the phone with nothing more than a "hello"
Yes....so...tech support is fast...if youre trying to get through to customer service though..its a little different. Its possible...but just not as easy thru the phones. Theyre big on email though.
Lets say you need to process an RMA, either a repair or a replacement (within 30 days of purchase), the techie who you called will take down your details and fwd them to a CSR who will process the RMA. they offer either fed-ex pickup at your door, or you can drop it off at one of their locations. This CSR will send you an email with shipping instructions and an RMA#.
My brand new f3sv-b1 was giving me a lot of sporadic errors, and i decided to send it in for a replacement. THe asus rep claimed it would take upto 5 or 6 business days from the time it leaves my house, to the time a new unit arrives at my door.
Lets see....will post further updates if required -
My G1S had defective parts so I dealt with them pretty quick. Mind you, this is the new Canadian notebook repair service so it doesn't reflect on the U.S. one or those in other nations.
The service is very topnotch. Not only did I receive a brand new laptop, but they actually ran the tests I noted that had revealed "failures" in the HDD/Memory on the new unit to make sure it had no issues. It was fast, people I spoke to were kind and friendly. All around an amazing experience.
Just incase you didn't know.. The standard notebook warranty is two years. And the battery has a one year warranty. It also has 30 days zero bright guarantee, incase you get a unit with bright/lit pixels or extreme backlight leakage. And if you're Canadian, the service center is located near Toronto. -
Does Asus have accidental coverage like Dell?
thanks -

I don think so.
Dell has one but it's $400 for 3 years
Dell's standard warranty does not cover it
how is asus' warranty?
