    how many of you recived rebates from ASUS products you bought?

    How long did it take?

    was their any hassles?


    just curious because i sent one out a couple weeks ago.

    always worked for me. i sent in a few of them. takes about 8 weeks or so to get the check back.

    thanks guys

    i made sure i followed the directions on the app form. Highlighted my purchase on a second recipt and cut out the code sticker that was one the box my laptop was in.


    I was just curious because i have heard alot of horror stories regarding rebates.

    my g1 rebate took 5 or so months (canada). that was a while back, so things may have changed.

    this sucks it has been over 8 weeks so i phoned www.status-now.com and they dont even have my papers on file.

    Bought 2 machines from ASUS which were supposed to have rebates, one Dec 08 the other Jan 09, still waiting for checks on both... :(

    man i cant beleive they could do this


    maybe i will get a check in 5 months time or something. What i mean is maybe they got my mail but havent even opened it or registered it because they are waiting to get all the specific rebates and do them all at the same time. OR that is just wishfull thinking and these rebate companies are greasy SOB's.
