hello guys, i run win7 with the dox driver for win7 (185.85) and i get 93C when playing pes2010 @1680x1050 High quality , vsync & frame skipping on.

Why ?! I can play nfsu shift without problems on high settingsb ut not pes2010 without overheating?

I get alot of little freezes and sometimes even a big freeze (white/black screen for 5 seconds then game is back with rly high speed for 1-2 secs).

gpu-z says 93C while playing

is the dox driver that bad ? When i had vista i made a test with the dox drivers and found out that the 182.xx was the best one (coolest but still highes score @3dmark06 and also better OC clocks). Should i try the standart nvidia driver?

    thanks

Different graphics drivers can affect how hot the GPU will run as well as performance. Try using a different driver or you can also try and disable vsync and see if that helps lower your GPU temp.

ye well i hoped for someone telling me that he had the same problem with win7 + dox driver and changed to some nvidia standart driver now.. and if its working better with it :p

turning vsync off makes surch strange edges.. hm dont rly know how to explain. it looks like the screen is cut sometimes.

i don't think the DOX drivers have anything to do with it but u might aswell try the new NVIDIA drivers or undervolt ur GFX card
