are there drivers for the g50vt-a1 ?

i guess the directconsole wont work but propably i can overclock it somehow else. If linux really gives an performance boost compared to vista i will propably change slowly to linux and learn it a bit. Also need to find out with programms like altium, solid works,.. work on linux.
i heard of wine but i guess playing games like gta/crysis/far cry2/.. wont work with it?

    thx

I don't think linux is right for you, really new games on Linux really don't work well/at all. i don't know about your other programs though.

Linux is faster, but it's not windows nor can it natively run windows programs

hmm then i think i will stick to vista. xp gives a better performance & 3dmark score.. but somehow i like vista now and with sp2 it might get better.
