Ive had this laptop for a little over 3 weeks now and im still noticing alot of keyboard lag even after updating my BIOS to 209 and the new ATK_Hotkey drivers. Does anyone know if they know of this problem and are trying to fix it? or does anyone know if there has been a release on how to fix it??

    thanks

You'll also need to install the ATKOSD2. Make sure you install the ATK hotkeys and ATKOSD2 AFTER you installed the new bios.

I had XP on my G50, so I never had an issue with keyboard lag. Others have reported that it worked while others said it didn't. You can also try an disable your touchpad from the bios (it will still work in vista) to see if that solves the lag.

I had the keyboard lag when I installed XP. I had to go back to Vista to eliminate it. Mine doesn't lag with Vista and I haven't updated anything yet.

Is this because you had to disable the lights in DirectConsole? I have no keyboard lag in XP (bios 209, latest atk) but I've read a couple posts saying something to the effect of turning the lights off helps. Obviously directconsole doesn't work in XP. Is that why you had to go to vista?

I have not notice any lag but I am using an USB keybaord and mouse hooked up to a USB hub. Maybe I should play on the actual kayboard to see if I see this problem.
