ok when the computer starts ....and the desktop apears i cant do anything ...i have to wait for the screen to flicker once before i can start using the desktop ...at begining this was like in 5 seconds but now as i got more programs instaled it takes up to 2 minutes

my question is what couses that flicker of the screen at the startup.........is it a preinstaled program by asus or is it something i cant avoid even if i unnstall all the programs.

There's an oldish thread about this already. It seems to occur while the wireless is initializing. The amount of time that it is locked up seems to have decreased quite a bit since the recent hot fixes by Microsoft (at least on my computer), so you might want to try downloading and installing them (see the thread here about them).

I had a similar issue except, my cores would both be at 40% usage for about 8 min or so. I've tested this with a fresh install with latest drivers and updates.

I still get the flicker (and the re-centering of the cursor), but there seems to be much less downtime before it happens (I didn't run any pre/post tests or anything, so this is purely anecdotal).

I get the flicker too, but it happens within like the first 15 sec of login.
