I just recovered from a major crash and created a recovery disk to get my G1S back up and running. I also bought Windows 7 and a 500gig drive to upgrade my 320. I want to clone the current drive to the 500gig one so that I can just upgrade to Windows 7 without having to spend days hunting for drivers, reinstalling, etc. Under Disk management in Vista, it shows that I have 3 Volumes: OS (C), Data (D), and NVCache. I know that NVcache is for my GPU. I want to clone the entire harddrive so that I have this on the new drive for my GPU to run smooth. Any advice on how to do this, esp free.?

Note: I already tried to use the Asus recovery disk to reinstall vista on the new drive so that I could upgrade to 7 after it was complete. Vista would give me an error saying that it couldn't complete the install during the final setup. I tried twice and finally reformatted that drive and made a recovery disk so that I could repair Vista.
