I bought the c90s and have premium ingredients in this baby, however, the company i bought it from made vista on a partition and as a vista noob i am, i thought i needed to reformat and such. i used wipedrive, again like a noob, and now i dont have the means to use the built in overclocking or powersave mode, or any of the other buttons on the computer. also the built in cameras light is perpetually on which ticks me off.. anyway, should i bring the computer back to the company that assembled the components (ibuypower which is near me) or is there another option?

LMAO! wow umm... so there is no OS on it at all now? did it come with a disk that would restore it to original settings? i'd try that or call ibuypower and tell them what you did and ask if they can help

yeah it has vista on it, but since i dumb/stupid/foolish/borderline retardedly wipedrived it all of the factory stuff was remove, and no it came with the vista installation and recovery disk and it also came with the c90s disks that have the manual and instALL cds, but that didnt help out. im going to have to take it back, because it constantly seems to overheat...

what do u mean by overheat? shuts off because its too hot or just you think its too hot on the bottom?

big difference - plus, the driver cd that it comes with has everything u need, including all the hotkeys

Qstn : where are your ASUS driver disks ? it comes with the c90....

Unfortunately, if you dont have the ASUS disks, u have to do it manually, one by one. go to the official ASUS site, downloads section. INput ur notebook model, and then then u could download all the drivers and utilities from there. This could really take some time... ( imagine downloading almost 650 Mb of drivers ? )
