    hi , my config is :
    1900$

    dell d830
    cpu : t9300 2.5G 6M
    ram : 4 G
    vga : quadro NVS140 256M
    hard : 160++
    monitor : 15.4" wsxga+
    9 cell , bt , fp ,full port

    has asus got any config with this price and any advantage?

    Yes, this with a 9-cell battery option.

    Advantages: better warranty and CS, number pad, altec lansing speakers, built-in webcam, fingerprint, bluetooth, wirelessN, HDMI & eSATA

    Disadvatages: below average battery life (2 hours w/ 6 cell battery), lack of mag-alloy chasiss.

    you can get a sager 2092 with same config and better gpu for about $1300

    u don't attend to the vga :

    NVS 140M quadro 256M

    it's a NVIDIA proffesional one , and u couldn't compare it with GeForce and other ones

    um... no

    there are no "professional cards"

    the NVS 140m is a 8400m gs tuned for openGL apps

    the 8600m gt is far better even for openGL

    and the 8800 (also m) is FAR better than any workstation card also accounting openGL performance
