Just some background info I did replace the dc jack on it but I'm sure I didn't do anything wrong as it ran fine for about a week after. Then one day it took a long time to start and the windows that was installed on the 24gb sandisk issd failed to start. I had to reinstall windows on the 500gb hdd that is on it. It is still taking about 5 minutes to boot into windows. When I press the power button it shows the asus logo instantly but right after it goes into black screen and takes 5 minutes to get into desktop. The 24gb sandisk issd still doesn't show any space and when I check diskpart from cmd it shows 0B (0 bytes).

Did I cause a short somehow? I don't have a service manual or anything like that to check, so if anyone has some voltages or something I should be checking that would be great. I'm sure I didn't mess anything up from the jack but I can probably check it again for any shorts. I can take apart the laptop and post any pictures if there are any questions. I'm very tech savvy and I have enough tools to do bga & smc repair. Please let me know some diagnostic procedures, thanks in advance
