    hi,

i was broswing the asus website, and came across the p43sj and b43s. As I am looking for a new business notebook to replace my really old (but trusty) t60, i am very interested in these.

first i haven't seen these on any retailers sites, and also am curious about which is better for non-business allaround use. is the NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 520M with 1GB DDR3 VRAM on the p43sj better for light gaming and video playback than the ATI Radeon® HD 6470M with 1GB DDR3 VRAM of the b43s?

otherwise they seem pretty similar, but the b43 can have an i7, and also has an expresscard slot (does anyone know if it's the bigger or smaller version? i have an old tv tuner that's the 54mm expresscard i'd litke ot use if possible)

i was also interested in the u41sv, but heard it's not being released.

    thanks

thanks. i wonder if the b43s and p43sd will be too heavy for traveling. i really like the sturdiness of business notebooks though. someone should offer a business notebook w/ an upgraded gpu

I was also looking at these yesterday while searching for new ASUS laptops. Matte screen, better processors, ruggedized, ASUS quality. Now if they can get the weight down and offer a 13" version, it would be at the top of my list for a new laptop.

The ASUS P43SJ is now the favourite for becoming my new notebook.

It would be great to hear if one of you actually bought this nice machine and how you are getting along with it.
