    i just got a new wifi adapter today and after i installed the drivers for it and restarted my netbook everything worked but the signal bars went away and now its just a gold asteric ,but i still have internet and it works perfectly its just not showing the signal strength. its a sinmax powered by ralink drivers. so far ive tried soming in (cmd) with winmgmt /verifyrepository and salvagerepository and everything checks out so now im stumped because ive had other adapters on the same system with ralink and realtec drivers with no issue. so any help wuld be appreciated thanks :)
