    I was on the Asus site and it say that the Z83V has a portbar III adapter on it. I have looked at the picture but do not see the Portbar III adapter on it. Does it actually come with it or was it a possible add on that didnt make it into the final product.

    No, the Z83v does not accept the PB3. It never was planned for the option either which makes it seem more like a typo on their side.

    It's good your did your own research and didn't just get the notebook and count on Asus' site..... a lot of other people do and since Asus isn't the company selling the item, there isn't much ground to stand on. If their site does list it, it's good to know and something to mention to them.
