I know there has been a lot of talk about this but I am unable to find any info that makes any sense to me. I would really appreciate any info about how to have XP on the G1S and if it is possible to have both Vista and XP on the machine. I have read that a lot of people are having trouble getting it to work and i wanted to know if anyone has been able to make it work.

    Thanks a bunch

Plenty of folks are running XP successfully (I'm one of them), same with Vista and Vista/XP dualbooting. From my understanding, if you install XP after Vista, it'll not give you an option automatically to choose which OS you'd like to boot into. Vista after XP, however, should let you decide.

I'm not personally a fan of Vista, but it's nice having a key for it once SP1 comes out and it starts to suck a bit less. Right now, my machine is much more stable under XP than Vista, and performs better in games. That's just my experience, though. Yours may be different. Many people here use and enjoy Vista :)
