Hi Guys, new to the forum and a proud owner of an ASUS A8JS. Great laptop apart from it came with Vista Premium :( I’m fortunate that I have a retail copy of XP Professional so that’s been installed however there are a few driver problems. Checked the ASUS site and resolved most of them apart from the wireless button and Fn key operation. Looks like I’m not the only one to experience this so here’s the question … anyone in Australia that could supply me with a copy of an XP driver disc?

The laptop is 2 weeks old and has been used for only a few hours and there are already very fine scratches on the paint finish, that’s a disappointment, heaven knows what’s its going to be like in 12 months time … looks like there’s a paint job around the corner

    Cheers Paul

For all you guys reading this post with similar problems you can format and rebuild you A8 hard drive AND have the Fn keys, wireless and all the other bells and whistles working IF you install the drivers in the correct order. I've never had this problem before but hey, there's always a first time. [IMG]
