    hi my touchpad for my notebook has just stopped scrolling up or down, please could someone help me out? thank you much appreciated

    Try updating the ASUS Smart Gesture software and see if it restores the touchpad function.

    Do you mean the scrolling gesture is not working? Or the touchpad won't register ANY vertical movement (cursor won't move up/down)?

    If the former, then try reloading the software Kevin mentioned. If the latter, it could be a problem with the touchpad board. You can also reinstall the driver for the touchpad while you're at it.
