Just wondering if anyone has installed Vista Beta 2 on their Z96J? Any problems with it? Would anyone recommend it over XP Pro?

I installed vista b2 on my a8jm 2-3 days ago.. it's decent.. had to hunt for a video driver but I found it now.

I cannot get audio to work though, it only seems to have picked up some digital out SPDIF which doesnt' help me plug into my analog speakers :)

3d games are iffy as well, i had to use drivers from laptopvideo2go that work well for the desktop but in counterstrike i'm getting 20-30fps with a lot of artifacts :(

Vista is in no way to be used over XP. it is a beta. things are glitchy slow or will not work. so unless its just to try and play dont think you are going to use it as a main OS.

This was a universal problem becauese Beta 2 did not bundle any sound card drivers. It was a download on your own deal.

Yeah i'd say it's still not ready for production, works good in the office environment, been using it on our network since MS sent us the beta 2 disc's.. just some of the multimedia/driver support is flakey.

Also anyone find an AV solution that works? we usually use sophos but it's not 100%.
