    Hi

I recently upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.
And I have an Asus G2sg, nice notebook, but Asus isn't all that helpful regarding drivers for Windows 7.
That means that right now I am using an interesting mix of Windows 7 drivers and both 64-bit and 32-bit Vista drivers.
They do work on windows 7, but native drivers would be nicer.
Has anyone here upgraded to Windows 7 with this notebook, if yes how did it go and what drivers were used?

Furthermore it seems to be a but louder after the upgrade, the fan seems to be spinning at af higher RPM at the desktop.
    Can this be solved?
I cannot find any utillities or anything in regard to this, and I cannot se that the different power profiles in Power4Gear makes much difference.
To be honest I wouldn't know how to check it either. :)

if you wait a couple days, the HDD will spin down more often, right now its setting up indexing/superfetch and other useful things and it pushes the HDD harder for the first few days of use. After ~2-3 days of using it my HDD temps dropped from 40C to 28C, same with the CPU temperatures/activity.
